More About the VeilWork Method
The VeilWork Method can bring healing and life to the body of Christ. It can expose and transform the deadness that prevails in the organized church in America, as well as in the lives of its members.
This deadness is partly the result of Christians who cannot give and receive love. Believers who haven't confronted their own emotional pain aren't able to truly comfort others.
The VeilWork Method helps believers uncover the root of this pain, which is often emotional wounds from a lack of unconditional love in families of origin.
When the church consists of people who are denying their woundedness, they can't experience God's love at more than an intellectual level.
God intended that unconditional love should be the foundation of relationships in the family, church and society. But when believers expect the church to provide this unconditional love, they walk away disappointed.
Christians' pain is often compounded because they feel renewed rejection if God doesn't rescue them the way they expect. Compounding this problem are the church's often unrealistic spiritual standards. The church expects its members to be happy and joyful no matter what's going on in their lives. This results in denial when people do not understand that the Lord's joy doesn't exist only in the absence of heartache and pain. This produces even more loneliness and isolation. Believers end up seeking refuge in places where they can experience their emotions freely.
The truth is that God can give peace that surpasses human understanding. This becomes possible when we give our human understanding over to the Lord and let Him help us see the same situation through His heart, His eyes, His love.
Each veil is made up of several idols, a fear and a root. We have you start by praying a Veil binding prayer for some time (ideally a week) before you actually try to break an idol. Every time you meet to do a piece of work, you again bind the demonic with the basic Veil binding prayer. This is done because the bonds are something the demonic can wiggle out of.
Ezekiel 16:20 & 47 talk of how the Israelites' idol worship resulted in their being more depraved than the people they lived among. Our prayer includes asking God to forgive us for having corrupt, depraved and perverted minds -- a condition that has been exacerbated by our willingness to be motivated in our actions by anything other than our love for God.
